About the Event
Join us for Diwali Delight, a celebration of the Festival of Lights through cultural traditions, festive flavors, and shared experiences.
Begin with a warm welcome and diya lighting, then discover the cultural meaning behind Diwali. Learn the art of sari and blouse styling, including how to drape long fabrics, and capture your look on camera. Please wear fitted tights and a blouse for easy fabric layering.
Enjoy a festive dinner with vegan and gluten-free options, and have custom mehndi (henna) designs applied on-site. Stay afterward for an open dance floor with Indian music and dancing.
Event schedule:
- 4:00–4:15 PM: Welcome and diya lighting.
- 4:15–4:30 PM: Discover the cultural meaning behind the Festival of Lights.
- 4:30–5:00 PM: Sari and blouse styling, with time to take photos.
- 5:00–6:00 PM: Festive dinner and custom henna art.
- 6:00–6:30 PM: Indian music and dancing.
